The other day, Abbie decided to start making monster noises in the car. Daniel and I laughed and he started "rawr-ing" back at her. Back and forth for about five minutes on the highway. Her raspy monster noises mirrored how I felt.
It's been a really stressful couple of weeks.
Which is the only excuse for my silence over here. Recipe for stress: A pinch of drama (some of it self induced), 1 mental breakdown, a handful of tears, and a dash of hostility. Between stressing the start of school this Monday and a serious case of self awareness, Owlfish learned how to say "Night-night!", 'Love you", "no baby", and "please?". She saw Toy Story 3 for the first time, and fell in love with Woody and Buzz. She received a her size table and chair which she adores and insists on eating at sometimes. And today, we blew bubbles in our room and listened to "You've Got a Friend in Me"
Things may not be perfect, but we've got it good.
Sorry for the silence, but I hope you all have been great!
Cause when push comes to shove
You taste what you're made of
You might bend til you break
Cause it's all you can take
On your knees you look up
Decide you've had enough
You get mad, you get strong
Wipe your hands, shake it off
Then you stand
